Laura Ingraham: Rubio "Absolutely Going To Push Amnesty If He's President"

|

Conservative commentator Laura Ingraham says Marco Rubio's recent rhetoric on immigration doesn't differ from Jeb Bush's position on and only confirms suspicions that he is pro-amnesty.

"I don’t buy what he’s selling, he is absolutely going to push amnesty if he’s president of the United States," Ingraham said on the Tuesday broadcast of her radio program. "I have no doubt about it. No doubt. I’ve been around a long time. Those wiggle-words he uses are so revealing about what the ultimate product of his work in the Oval Office would mean for the American people."

LAURA INGRAHAM: People want a real, pragmatic approach to the issues of globalism, the U.S. economy, management of our budget. They want a pragmatic approach. And, if Trump gets in there and doesn’t do any of that, then he’s out. But, I don’t see how Marco Rubio doing the same thing that Bush did is going to be any different from Bush. I mean, he doesn’t disagree with anything Bush thinks, except Common Core. So, explain how it’s all going to work out better for us.

And, as for Ted Cruz, I think Ted Cruz could do things that are perhaps really transformative. He has to be able to put together coalitions of people, though, to do that. You can’t just burn it all down, you do have to put together coalitions of people. i think, probably, Trump could do that. But, who knows. This is all kind of a crapshoot at this point.

But, one thing we know, those sound bites from Marco Rubio tell you everything you need to know about where he’s going on immigration. This is open borders, let them all in, and cut a deal with the Chamber of Commerce approach to immigration. I can tell you that. Those soundbites should be played morning, noon, and night. I don’t buy what he’s selling, he is absolutely going to push amnesty if he’s president of the United States. I have no doubt about it. No doubt. I’ve been around a long time. Those wiggle-words he uses are so revealing about what the ultimate product of his work in the Oval Office would mean for the American people.
