President Obama touted his foreign policy credentials in a speech he gave on the Iranian nuclear deal Wednesday at American University in Washington, D.C. Obama boasted he has "ordered tens of thousands" of U.S. troops to conduct "military action" in seven countries.
"As commander-in-chief, I have not shied away from using force when necessary," Obama said. "I have ordered tens of thousands of young Americans into combat. I have sat by their bedside sometimes when they come home."
"I've ordered military action in seven countries," Obama professed. "There are times when force is necessary, and if Iran does not abide by this deal, it's possible that we don't have an alternative."
