At the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference in Washington D.C. last week, independent journalists asked presidential hopeful Jeb Bush about his position on Pope Francis's encyclical on climate change. Bush says that he "continues to support the reduction of carbon emissions."
QUESTION: What are you going to do about climate change?
JEB BUSH: Continue to embrace the reduction of carbon emissions that have taken place?
QUESTION: Do you agree with the Pope's moral mission on climate change?
JEB BUSH: He has every right to have a view on it.
