Tension between Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ken.) and other Senate Republicans came to a head last night during a rare Sunday session to address the PATRIOT Act's expiration. Sen. Dan Coates (R-Ind.) was speaking out the remainder of the time allotted to the pro-NSA cause, when Sen. Paul attempted to interrupt to ask if he could speak in opposition. John McCain went for the procedural jugular.
"The senator from Kentucky needs to learn the rules of the Senate," McCain said. "Maybe the senator from Kentucky should know the rules of the Senate."
