A spokeswoman for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign dismissed former President Bill Clinton's remarks that he will continue to give expensive speeches, saying the campaign is "focused on her," not him.
Yesterday, in an interview with NBC News, Clinton said he will continue to give speeches and run the foundation because he has to pay "our bills."
"You know, that's President Clinton," Amanda Renteria, Clinton's national political director, told MSNBC on Tuesday. "We are focused on her and what she is doing here and what's going on with her. We have the briefing page to really help people get the facts out there, but at the end of the day, this is her building a relationship, earning every single vote and a being out there with the community."
