"Fox News" Panel: Are Bush & Romney Really Going To Waste $300 Million On "Rich White Dude Death Match?"

The Iowa Straw Poll is in eight months. Democratic strategist Liz Chadderdon and Republican strategist Pete Snyder debate whether Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney will have to duke it out or is there enough room for both in the 2016 field. Find out in this round of "Power Play" with host Chris Stirewalt.

CHRIS STIREWALT: Are Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney really going to have a rich white dude Kumite death match and spend $300 million dollars in a fight that, the differences between these two individuals is gradient at best.

PETE SNYDER, REPUBLICAN STRATEGIST: I don't see it happening. There is a nice little Kabuki dance happening now on deadlines and timelines and those types of things, but there is not enough oxygen in the rodeo for this thing.

CHRIS STIREWALT: If I were Scott Walker, Mike Pence, John Kasich or some Republican governor -- somebody with the chance to start out with a little bit -- or Marco Rubio, should say I hope they both [Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney] run. And hope that they beat the tar out of each other. Because that creates a space slightly to their right to try to sneak in on them, right?

LIZ CHADDERDON, DEMOCRATIC STRATEGIST: First of all I want to go back to "death match." Nothing would make me happier than to see those two guys duke it out. I'd really like a cage match, actually, to the death! Absolutely, if we're going to do this, let's do this right? I completely agree -- I'd be surprised if Romney jumped back in, I mean what is this third time's the charm? We're going for a hat trick here? Especially after Jeb has come out so early, he's probably soaking up a lot of that big money that should have/would have been Romney's. I'm just a little surprised you think Romney's really getting back in.
