Clinton Honored With "Red Dress Award" By Woman's Day Magazine

On Tuesday night, former President Bill Clinton was honored by Woman's Day magazine and given a "Red Dress" award for his work to combat heart disease.

"The Clinton Foundation’s work promotes heart health across a variety of initiatives, both domestically and internationally," Woman's Day notes. "The Clinton Health Matters Initiative works to reduce the prevalence of preventable health outcomes (including heart disease), to close health inequity and disparity gaps, and to reduce health care costs by improving access to key contributors to health for all people."

"After President Clinton’s own heart surgery in 2005, the Clinton Foundation partnered with the American Heart Association and founded the Alliance for a Healthier Generation."
