ANN COULTER: I thought one of the most effective things, which is something that I actually I talked about last night, which was showing the cardboard cutouts of the size of the two of them. The way they keep showing these childhood photos of Trayvon Martin, you have the idea that this brute shot an 11-year-old. Well, no. Trayvon Martin was taller, weighed more, was young and fit, and a fighter. I remain sorry that they couldn't get the social media parts in, and that is something that is being ignored by the media.
We certainly hear about every altercation George Zimmerman has gotten in. And if you're trying to figure out what happened, forget the legal standard for proof beyond a reasonable doubt that George Zimmerman was not in fear of eminent bodily harm. But just for the news media's coverage of this, it was just all negative about George Zimmerman and all angelic and precious about Trayvon. It's the media trying to gin up riots, if there's an acquittal. They're the ones who are doing this, they are the ones who keep hinting at it and insisting on it. It's really ugly.
