Bashir, Jesse Jackson Link Brewer, West To Violence Against Obama

MSNBC's Martin Bashir and Jesse Jackson try to link President Obama's political opponents to potential violence against him.

Jackson says Jan Brewer's finger in Obama's face and Rep. Allen West saying "get the hell out" of the country is "dangerous" and even links it to someone shooting an AK-47 rifle at the White House.

However, two little problems. An "Occupy" protester was behind the AK-47 incident and done well before West made his comments and the Brewer incident.

Jackson who called the rhetoric "dangerous" caused Bashir to ask him to be very specific about what he meant.

"I want to go back to your use of the word dangerous. Do you really believe that there may be some kind of terrible outcome as a result of some of the comments that have been made about the President of the United States?" Bashir asked.

Jackson said "ignorance and hatred and violence is a certain pattern" that led to JFK and Martin Luther King Jr. being assassinated.
