Romney: "Lifelong Politician" Newt Gingrich Can't Beat Obama

Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney responds to the Union Leader endorsing Newt Gingrich and not him. The Union Leader is a very influential conservative paper in New Hampshire.

"I think to get President Obama out of office, you're going to have to bring something to the race that's different than what he brings. He's a lifelong politician," Romney said of Gingrich. "I think you have to have the credibility of understanding how the economy works. And I do."

"I think I stand, by far, the best shot of replacing President Obama among the Republicans in the field," Romney added.

Romney also says that Gingrich has spent upwards of 30-40 years in Washington, DC, which in turn has made him a Washington insider.
