Schumer: Supercommittee Will Fail And It Will Be The GOP's Fault
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) tells "Morning Joe" that he believes the supercommittee will not succeed. Schumer blames the would-be failure on Republicans because they are refusing to increase taxes in turn for a cut in entitlement spending.
"The problem, on the other side, when they say 'close loopholes' they say we want no net revenues. I don't think the supercommittee is going to succeed because our Republican colleagues have said no net revenues," Schumer said on MSNBC.
