NBC's Chuck Todd: Obama "Guilted" Senate Back In Session

NBC's Chuck Todd credits President Obama with bringing the Senate back in session during the July 4th holiday week to come up with a solution to the nation's debt crisis.

Todd said "you've got to assume" Obama will "do everything he can to jump start a negotiating session" over the debt.

"And while he does want to support a vote on Libya which is another thing on the docket this week, the irony the President guilted Harry Reid to calling the Senate back in and the first order of business is Libya, not the debt talks. Because it was the President that guilted Congress into coming back this week, at least the Senate side. The House was scheduled to come back tomorrow, you've got to assume he is going to try to do anything he can to at least jump start a negotiating session," NBC's Chuck Todd said this afternoon.
