Will Senate seat Burris?

In a stunning about-face, it appears Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is planning to seat Roland Burris in the Senate, per the Politico's Manu Raju:

Senate Democrats are planning to seat Roland Burris in the Senate, one day after rejecting his credentials and blocking his entrance to the chamber, the Associated Press is reporting.

But two Senate Democratic aides, in interviews with Politico are disputing the report that there has been a deal.

If there is a deal, the quick turnabout by Senate Democrats comes as Burris is in a closed door meeting with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Majority Whip Dick Durbin in Reid’s office this morning.

The momentum had been growing toward a deal on Burris, as more Democrats were becoming uncomfortable with the situation and Burris seemed to have serious political and legal momentum. No details of the deal have been released. Reid, Durbin and Burris were scheduled to meet from 10:30 to 11 a.m. this morning.
