Diane Black (R-6th District)
About: Black, a registered nurse who has served 12 years in the state legislature, was elected by an overwhelming margin to replace outgoing Rep. Bart Gordon. She won a plum seat on the House Ways and Means Committee.

Brett Carter (D): 29.4%
Stephen Fincher (R-8th District)
About: Fincher, a farmer, gospel singer, and businessman, became the first Republican since Reconstruction to win this seat once occupied by Davy Crockett. He will serve on the Agriculture Committee as well as the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
