Steve Chabot (R-1st District)

About: Chabot served as western Cincinnati's congressman for 14 years and sought a rematch with Rep. Steve Driehaus in 2010 after losing his seat in 2008. In his last term, he served on the committees on Foreign Affairs and the Judiciary and was the ranking member for the Committee on Small Business. He will serve on the latter committee in the new Congress.

Election Results:
Steve Chabot (R): 52.4%
Steve Driehaus (D): 45.1%

 

Bill Johnson (R-6th District)

About: After spending 26 years in the Air Force, Johnson co-founded an information technology consulting company and has done contracting work for the military. Johnson will serve on the House committees on Foreign Affairs, Natural Resources and Veterans' Affairs.

Election Results:
Bill Johnson (R): 50.3%
Charlie Wilson (D): 45.1%

 

Steve Stivers (R-15th District)

About: A 25-year veteran of the Ohio Army National Guard, Stivers spent about a year deployed to combat zones during the Iraq War. A graduate of the Ohio State University, Stivers has worked for Bank One and recently spent six years in the Ohio Senate. Stivers was tapped for the House Financial Services Committee.

Election Results:
Steve Stivers (R): 54.7%
Mary Jo Kilroy (D): 40.8%

 

Jim Renacci (R-16th District)

About: Renacci's private-sector experience includes forming a health care management consulting company and later, a financial consulting company. A former volunteer firefighter and mayor of the town of Wadsworth, Renacci will serve on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

Election Results:
Jim Renacci (R): 52.2%
John Boccieri (D): 41.2%

 

Bob Gibbs (R-18th District)

About: A livestock farmer who spent two terms as president of the Ohio Farm Bureau, Gibbs has served in both houses of the Ohio legislature. He will serve on the committees on Agriculture and Transportation and Infrastructure.

Election Results:
Bob Gibbs (R): 53.9%
Zack Space (D): 40.4%
