Dan Benishek (R-1st District)

Bill Huizenga (R-2nd District)

About: Huizenga began investing in real estate when he was still in college. Before becoming a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, he served as Rep. Pete Hoekstra's director of public policy. Huizenga will serve on the Financial Services Committee.

Justin Amash (R-3rd District)

About: Amash was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2008. Time listed him as one of the magazine's "40 under 40 rising stars of U.S. politics." Amash will serve on the Budget Committee and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Tim Walberg (R-7th District)

About: Born on the South Side of Chicago, Walberg worked as a steel mill worker to help pay for college and served as a pastor for almost a decade. He will serve on the Education and Labor, Homeland Security, and Oversight and Government Reform committees.

Mark Schauer (D): 45.4%


Hansen Clarke (D-13th District)

About: Clarke majored in painting at Cornell University and earned a law degree from Georgetown Law School. He served three terms in the Michigan House of Representatives before being elected to the state Senate in 2002.

Hansen Clarke (D): 79.3%
John Hauler (R): 18.5%
