Tim Huelskamp (R-1st District)

About: The 42-year-old Huelskamp served 13 years in the Kansas State Senate prior to winning this race to replace Jerry Moran, who vacated the seat in a successful bid for the Senate. Huelskamp will serve on three committees in Congress: Agriculture, Budget and Veterans’ Affairs.

Election Results:
Tim Huelskamp (R): 73.8%
Alan Jilka (D): 22.8%


Kevin Yoder (R-3rd District)

About: Yoder, though just 34 years old, is an accomplished attorney and served seven years in the Kansas State House of Representatives from the 20th district. He is one of just three freshman GOP congressmen selected to sit on the Appropriations Committee.

Election Results:
Kevin Yoder (R): 58.7%
Stephene Moore (D): 38.3%


Mike Pompeo (R-4th District)

About: The 47-year-old attorney and businessman from Wichita defeated Democrat Raj Goyle to hold this open GOP seat vacated by Todd Tiahrt, who ran unsuccessfully for the Senate. Pompeo will serve on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

Election Results:
Mike Pompeo (R): 59.1%
Raj Goyle (D): 36.2%
