Anneke E. Green

Anneke E. Green's work has appeared in numerous publications and she is a contributor to programs on BBC News, Sky News, and PBS in addition to multiple national and international radio programs. 

Anneke is senior director at the White House Writers Group. As a member of President George W. Bush’s speechwriting team, she worked on State of the Union addresses, Iraq & Afghanistan operations updates, and domestic policy speeches like Head Start, environmental initiatives, and Medicare & Social Security reform.

She was a senior editor at Regnery Publishing before moving to the editorial page of The Washington Times where she wrote editorials on politics and culture and oversaw the op-ed pages of the Commentary section. 

She began her career working for Congressman Ernie Fletcher, then joined Senator Mitch McConnell’s team, first in his personal office, then as part of his Majority Whip operation.
