Portman Hits Fisher on Jobs in New Ad

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio Republican Senate candidate Rob Portman is launching today a new TV ad, which takes his Democratic opponent, Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher to task for job loss in the state.

The ad features Ohioans at a career fair in Dayton just last week talking about how difficult it's been to find work in the state.

"I've been looking for a job now for 13 months," one man says in the spot.

Another says he's considered leaving the state to seek employment elsewhere.

Fisher is included in the ad, which ties him to the stimulus and points out that 150,000 jobs have left the state since it passed. President Obama, however, is not mentioned.

The Portman campaign also launched a new radio spot on Tuesday.
