Could GOP Nominee Disavow Top Achievement?

Governors do a lot of things, but there's no doubt Mitt Romney's signature accomplishment from his single term as governor of Massachusetts was the passage of the state healthcare plan that became known as Romneycare. It was Romney's bad luck that, by the time he won the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, President Obama had passed a national health law based in part of Romneycare, and the Republican base hated it — a lot.
