Interview with Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum

(ABC News)

GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum lambasted Mitt Romney this morning on ‘This Week,” calling him a flawed candidate and asking for a one-on-one debate with the former Massachusetts governor.

“I’d love to be able to get one-on-one with Gov. Romney and expose the record that would be the weakest record we could possibly put up against Barack Obama,” said Santorum. “We can’t nominate such a weak candidate.”

Santorum lashed out at Romney for “hiding” behind billionaires and for his similarities to President Obama.

“The more I look at the record of Gov. Romney and match it up against Barack Obama, I feel like I am doing a training run for the general election,” said Santorum. “The same issues I’m out there campaigning on against Gov. Romney are the same issues I’m going to campaign against Barack Obama on.

The former senator from Pennsylvania argued that President Obama and the former governor of Massachusetts shared similar positions on health care, “cap and trade” and “the bailouts.”

“Unfortunately, Gov. Romney and Barack Obama are in the same place,” Santorum said. “Gov. Romney’s on the same page as Barack Obama on all of these issues.”

“We can’t be out there nominating someone who gives away the most important issues that conservatives care about in this election,” said Santorum.

Mitt Romney may see Santorum as a “monkey” on his back, but I think Santorum is “right on the money” about Mitt Romney. Romney is a flawed and a feigned candidate. He is not what he cracks up to be. All the smooth talking about being a conservative is a ploy to get votes. The man is as liberal as water running down a pipe. Report has it that his universal healthcare plan in Massachusetts is working well, but Romney is not talking about it. He is rather spending time spending time vilifying the “Obamacare.” Hypocrite!

Santorum is an idiot. The Republicans are handing the 2012 election to Obama. And tyou really need to stop pandering to the Christian Taliban.

The longer the GOP establishment allows Santorum to be a viable candidate, the worse the Republican chances are in November. And that’s not just in the presidential contest. Santorum’s lunatic fringe rantings could impact House and Senate races, too.

Santorum is calling Romney a “flawed candidate”? Has he looked in the mirror lately? Ron Paul can defeat Obama. Santorum doesn’t have a chance.

Well now, wouldn’t THAT be a pander party…

These two debating about what? Which is more conservative than the other? Which lives deepest in the prehistoric woods? They are both bad jokes, maybe the worst joke the GOP has ever played on the American voters.

I have an idea. How about the GOP coming up with a candidate who has common sense and sanity, and maybe a little compassion for people who are not as fortunate as others and could use a little help from the top of the food chain. Is that too much to ask?

“This is soooo funny. What a couple of clowns.”POSTED BY: JIM BOB JR.If you support the inept windbag demagogue and failure known as Obama, then that is funnier by far than either of these so-called “clowns”.

Insanitorum (and his absurd ideas) are the reason the GOP will lose big in November. He is a religious fanatic who unfortunately believes in the absurd Catholic tenets (the earth is the center of the universe, masturbation sends you to hell, there is such a thing as hell, Christ speaks through the pope, gays are bad, birth control is evil, sex is bad except for procreation, etc, etc). He is exactly what we DON’T need in the White House. He should have been a priest (or a member of the taliban).

I just hope that all of this will divert attention away from Obama’s horrendous record as president, a position he obviously was never even remotely qualified for.
