January 05, 2009Today, Senate appointee Roland Burris left Chicago to head to Washington D.C., where he hoped to be seated in the U.S. Senate. However, it is unclear if the Senate will ever recognize the choice made by Illinois Governor Rod Blagoejvich. Burris held a press conference before leaving.
