Today in Chicago, President-elect Barack Obama announced that Mary Schapiro would be chairwoman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. He also appointed Daniel Tarullo to the Federal Reserve Board, and Gary Gensler to chair the Commodity Futures Commission.
