December 23, 2008Hume Signs Off Of 'Special Report'
Tonight, Brit Hume, the anchor of "Special Report" on Fox News, anchored the program for the last regular time. He announced that Bret Baier would be be the next host of the show.
In honor of Hume's departure, the staff of the program put together a tribute video. It features both Presidents Bush, Vice President Cheney, Charlie Gibson of ABC News, and appearances by the program's correspondents.
In 2009, Hume will take on new responsibilities at Fox News.
