Sen. Gordon Smith (R-OR) has this new ad in his Senate race. In it he ties himself to Barack Obama and says that they both worked for "better gas mileage and the environment." The Obama campaign has distanced itself from the ad and reminded Oregon voters that they support Jeff Merkley in his bid to oust Smith from the Senate.
