Today, Barack Obama spoke in Warren, Michigan after touring a Chrysler stamping plant in nearby Sterling Heights. He spoke about Michigan's struggling manufacturing workers and how the automakers have come along in investing in research and development for more fuel efficient cars.
He also stirred some controversy on blogs when he called a Detroit television reporter "sweetie." He later called and apologized to the reporter.
