May 18, 2008Following their third straight special election loss, House Republicans are having trouble figuring out how to increase their appeal with voters before November. The topic was a source of conversation on the Sunday morning shows.
On "Fox News Sunday," Bill Kristol said the best thing House Republicans could do was get in line behind the McCain campaign and do everything to help him win because he would pull their numbers.
On "This Week," House Minority Leader John Boehner agreed with Kristol's assessment regarding McCain. He also said that Republicans would have to work hard to show Americans that they are serious about governing the country.
