March 07, 2008Former Obama Adviser Hedges on 16-Month Iraq Withdrawal
Today, Samantha Power resigned for calling Hillary Clinton "a monster" last week.
However, before her resignation she also talked about Obama's Iraqi withdrawal plan on the BBC. In this clip, she says that "it would be the height of ideology, you know, to say 'I said it therefore I'm going to impose it on whatever scenario greets me'".
She said 16-months was a best case scenario for how long it would take, and that it's hard to make a commitment in March 2008 for a situation in January 2009.
