Maher On Romney: "At Least He Eats With A Knife And Fork"

"That's just because they hate Mitt Romney," HBO's Bill Maher said about Herman Cain's rise on ABC's "Good Morning America." "You've got to feel very bad for Mitt Romney," Maher told George George Stephanopoulos. "I mean, he has been led so far by Trump, then Bachmann, then Perry, then Cain." "I'm rooting for him. Look, because in a country with two political parties the Republican can always win. I mean, at least he eats with a knife and fork. I mean, he is all that stands between us and the rise of the apes." Send to a Friend |

"I mean Rick Perry's completely blown himself up. There's zero chance that Herman Cain's going to be the nominee," James Carville told ABC's "Good Morning America." "The best thing Rick Perry could do for his family and his friends is just get out of the race and go back to Texas. This man is evidently not up to this. He had plenty chances to do it. He can't debate, he can't give a speech, he can't hold a position paper, he can't go on television." Send to a Friend |

Biden Calls Gingrich Food Stamp Charge "Ridiculous"

"It’s hard to respond to Newt with those kind of ridiculous statements,” Vice President Biden told Good Morning America. "Do they actually think that President Barack Obama wants to put everybody on food stamps? I don’t know what they mean by it quite frankly… There must be some base they’re trying to appeal to. I just don’t know.” “The president talked about what we do think is fair,” Biden said. “It’s fair to give the middle class a fighting shot here, to bring home jobs, to incentivize companies to come home and manufacture here.” Send to a Friend |

Gingrich: "Obama Is Going To Laugh At" Romney

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

"He's got to get a majority somewhere," Newt Gingrich said Friday on ABC's "Good Morning America." "I don't think against the three of us he's going to get a majority. We'll gradually coalesce. One of us will emerge as the conservative alternative. That conservative alternative will beat Romney, and I think as people look at his record, and they imagine him debating Obama, Obama's going to laugh at him. Obama's going to say, 'I developed ObamaCare based on RomneyCare. I even brought your staff into the White House in order to develop it.' So, I think we have to look at what kind of a choice do we want to offer the country? I think a Reagan conservative who has been consistently for lower taxes, smaller government, more economic growth has a much better chance." Send to a Friend |
