Krauthammer: When It Comes To Ideas, Obama Is Spent
Charles Krauthammer talks to Sean Hannity about President Obama's State of the Union and Thursday night's debate. Krauthammer calls Obama's SOTU "small ball politics."
Krauthammer said Obama has tried everything in his arsenal, including the largest Keynesian stimulus "since the earth cooled." He says if Obama wants to win another term he needs to "give the appearance of motion."
On the debate, Krauthammer praised Rick Santorum for going after Romney "like a prosecutor" over RomneyCare. He noted that no one has really gone on the attack against RomneyCare in nearly all of the 19 debates between the GOP candidates.
Krauthammer believes Santorum's strategy is to wait around and "live off the land" until one of the main frontrunners implodes, which Krauthammer says could happen.
Krauthammer also believes that Tim Pawlenty is "kicking himself" for dropping out of the races after the Ames Straw Poll in Iowa this past summer.
