Romney: Elect Someone Who Knows How Economy Works, "Not A Community Organizer"
"It's interesting to listen to the Democrats talk about how wonderful things are right now, but as I go across the country, I keep on hearing people talking about how difficult things are," Mitt Romney said on "Fox and Friends" on Friday morning. "We're seeing 9.9 percent unemployment here in South Carolina. A lot of people are having a hard time making ends meet, gasoline is twice as expensive as when the president took office. We've lost 1.7 million jobs since the president took office. People are having a hard time, people coming home from war in Afghanistan and Iraq can't find jobs. Look, we can do better. This president thinks things are great. If people think things are great, they ought to re-elect him. I think things are not so great, and that we ought to have someone go to Washington who understands how this economy works, not a community organizer."
