Robert Reich: December's Job Numbers Vindicate The Stimulus
"The Republicans have been against every single jobs package the President has wanted. The stimulus, most recently the job creation ideas behind extending the payroll tax cut, extending unemployment insurance. Republicans said 'No, we don't want to do it, it's a failure.' Well, you look at these job numbers, look at the trajectory, look at the direction and you see it's not a failure at all. Had we not had any of this, we'd really be in far worse shape than we are right now," former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich said on MSNBC's "Ed Show" last night.
