Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann accused her former Iowa co-chair of taking money to defect to the Ron Paul campaign.
“Kent Sorenson personally told me he was offered a large sum of money to go to work for the Paul campaign,” Bachmann said at a press event. "He had said to me yesterday that 'everyone sells out in Iowa, why shouldn't I?' Then he told me he would stay with out campaign. The Ron Paul campaign has to answer for its actions on these events."
Sorenson denied the charges. "No that's not true," he said when asked about receiving money to join the Ron Paul campaign.
