Valerie Jarrett: Obama Gave Supercommittee "Great Deal" Of Advice, Not To Blame
"Do you think the president should have been more hands-on? Is he partly to blame for the failure of the supercommittee," MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski asked senior Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett,
“This was a congressional committee that was set up," Valerie Jarrett said. "It was up to Congress to do their job. It was their job to act, and they didn’t.â€
Jarrett says of course he isn't to blame. Yet, she does reveal that President Obama spoke to the committee just a few times
"No, he gave them a great deal of guidance," she said on "Morning Joe."
