"Real Time" Panel Has Livid Argument Over JFK Being A Dove Or Hawk
Chris Matthews and Andrew Sullivan argued over President John F. Kennedy and his foreign policy on "Real Time" this week. Matthews, who fondly calls JFK "Jack," recently wrote a book about the 35th President, which he has promoted ad nauseum as Bill Maher points out. Matthews argues that JFK's desire not to use military action during the Cuban missile crisis proves he was a dove. Andrew Sullivan disagreed, calling JFK a hawk, which led to an extremely heated argument over the former president's foreign policy.
