O'Donnell: "Political History Was Made" In New York City
Lawrence O'Donnell discusses the results of the special election in New York's 9th District: "If you think Democrats lost the seat because its previous Democratic occupant had to leave under a heavy cloud of embarrassment, if not scandal, you must think again. Scandal is not enough for Democrats to lose a New York City congressional seat. There is no better proof than the former House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charlie Rangel, who was easily re-elected in November 2010 in the middle of a highly publicized House Ethics Committee investigation which ultimately led to his formal censure by the House of Representatives."
