Top Black Dem: Let Us Know "It's Alright And Unleash Us"
"When you tell us it's alright and you unleash us. And you tell us you're ready to have this conversation, we're ready to have the conversation," Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), said at a Congressional Black Caucus event in Detroit, Michigan.
"When you let us know it is time to let go, we'll let go," Waters said to a raucous crowd.
Waters is one of the most senior black members of the U.S. Congress.
