Eugene Robinson says Democrats have "lost the tax argument a long time ago."
"Tax rates are down, down, down and that's the way it's been and apparently that's that way it's going to be. The American public never saw a tax cut it didn't like and that's become the Republican's main issue and they're very successful with it," Eugene Robinson said on MSNBC this morning.
Robinson complains this is the reason why we don't have enough money to run the "programs we demand.
"If he could just kind of lose the name calling, it would do him a bit of good 'cause that really ticked people off and is responsible for some of what you saw at the Democratic caucus on the Hill yesterday," Robinson said of President Obama.
