Kagan: I Am A "Democrat" And A "Progressive"
"Elections do have consequences and should," Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan said. "In terms of my political views, I have been a Democrat all of my life. I have worked for two Democratic presidents and that's what my political views are," Kagan said of her political party.
"My political views are generally progressive," Kagan said.
