NFL's Saints To Raffle Off Super Bowl Ring For Oil Spill Cleanup
"Obviously we wanted to do something to lend a helping hand down here, and ... we felt that the best way to do that, or maybe the most unique way to do that, would be to give someone the opportunity to win one of our authentic Super Bowl rings through a raffle," quarterback Drew Brees said. "This is the real deal, and this is only obviously a one-time thing, and just one of those very special circumstances where we wanted to do something that could really raise significant funds for the efforts down here," he added.
