Democratic Critz Sworn In Two Days After Election
U.S. Representative Mark Critz (D-PA) was sworn in this afternoon as a Member of the United States House of Representatives. Congressman Critz succeeded the late Rep. John Murtha who had represented the people of the 12th District of Pennsylvania since 1973. He won a special election on May 18, 2010. In comparison, Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) was elected to the Senate on January 19, 2010. He wasn't sworn in until February 4, 2010.
