Crist Unclear If He Would Caucus With Republicans Or Democrats
On "Meet the Press" Gov. Charlie Crist wouldn't say if he would caucus with Republicans but rather "the people of Florida." Gov. Crist was also unclear on which party he would select as the leadership in the Senate. Transcript below:
DAVID GREGORY, MODERATOR: Would you vote for a Republican or Democratic majority leader?
CHARLIE CRIST: I might not vote for either one. I'm going to vote for who I think would be best for the people of Florida and if that happens to be a Democrat, then so be it. If it happens to be a Republican, so be it.
