Obama: Iran Must Live Up To International Obligations
NBC: President Barack Obama on Friday urged Iran to come clean about its nuclear activities, saying that the revelation of a covert nuclear fuel site underscores Tehran's willingness to follow international rules.
Obama, with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and French President Nicolas Sarkozy by his side, made the announcement before the opening of the Group of 20 economic summit in Pittsburgh.
Obama, who demanded that Tehran open the site up to international inspections, said the site "deepens a growing concern" that Iran has failed to live up to its international obligations. He said that Iran "is breaking rules that all nations must follow, endangering the world non-nuclear proliferation regime ... and the security of the world."
