Obama Eulogizes Kennedy As "Greatest Legislator Of Our Time"
AP: President Barack Obama joined other leaders and luminaries in paying final tribute Saturday to Edward M. Kennedy, mourning the loss of a senator who made an indelible impact on U.S. life over 47 years in Congress and the man who held up America's most famous family during tragedy and triumph.
In his eulogy, President Barack Obama praised Kennedy as a "restless dreamer" who became the rock of the extended family.
"I, like so many others in the city where he worked for nearly half a century, knew him as a colleague, a mentor, and above all, a friend," the president said.
