Republican Says Dems Silenced Him, Violated His 1st Amendment Rights
Rep. John Carter (R-TX) is accusing Democrats of censoring him.
"Twenty-four Republican Members of Congress have a similar story about different language that the Democrats held up their communication until they changed the language … So they prevent us from communicating our message by just stalling us," Rep. John Carter (R-TX) said.
"We had put in that speech the words ‘The Democratic majority is bringing out their government run health care program…we had to strike the term Democrat majority and put ‘majority party is releasing its public option health care plan.’ Well, public option is a talking point of Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama," he said.
