Graham And Romney On Stimulus, Energy Bill, Sanford
Former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) appeared on "Meet the Press" this Sunday. Graham said the stimulus didn't add jobs but created debt. On the subject of Gov. Mark Sanford (R-SC), Graham said if he can reconcile with his family then the people of South Carolina will give him a "second chance."
On health care reform, Sen. Graham said "we're not going to nationalize health care." Romney said the "last thing" we need is a single-payer system. He says the "right way" to reform health care is not a complete overhaul of the system. He concluded we don't have to have government running health care.
