Sen. Leahy: Attacks On Sotomayor Are "Vicious"

After meeting with Judge Sonia Sotomayor, Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) said criticisms of her are "vicious." Sen. Leahy was referring to Rush Limbaugh who called her "racist" and former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) who compared her to the KKK. Sen. Leahy said Sotomayor told him as a juror she would "ultimately and completely" interpret the law.
