Rep. Ryan Explains GOP's Alternative Budget
This morning, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), the ranking Republican on the House Budget Committee, appeared on CNBC’s morning show, “Squawk Box,” where he said the budget the Democrats are writing in the House is “the Obama budget with better camouflage and smoke and mirrors” and highlighted the Republican Budget alternative: “we are going to tackle the tough issue of reforming entitlements, of getting our budget under wraps, of enforcing budgetary discipline and a getting our borrowing situation under control.”
