February 13, 2009House Denies 48-Hour Waiting Period For Stimulus
On the House floor this afternoon, Rep. Tom Price (R) requested members be given 48 hours to read the stimulus bill. However, the House Democratic leadership waived the time limit, breaking their word. The bill wasn't made available for viewing until late last evening.
