This is what Joe Biden has said in the last 24 hours about being Obama's running mate:

"I'm not the guy."

"You guys [i.e. the media] have better things to do." (Answer: Not really)

"I promise, I don't know anything, have no idea, have spoken to no one."

So has Biden popped the buzz balloon with these comments? Taken together, I think we can still keep him in the veepstakes -- for however much longer that lasts. There are reports that Obama hasn't even told his eventual running mate about his choice, so Biden might have been telling the truth when he said he has "no idea."
